"On Lake Champlain:" Kayaking, sailing, canoeing, and boating at the Crater Club

The Crater Club enjoys a 1/8 mile of lakeside access including a separate swimming dock and boating dock for its members along the smooth rocky shores of Lake Champlain near Split Rock and Whalen's Bay.   Our affiliation with the Split Rock Yacht Club offers members crewing and sailing opportunities each summer Saturday at Burnham's Landing as well as youth sailing lessons through the Crater Club Youth Group.   Canoes and kayaks belonging to members often can be enjoyed by guests and visiting families.  Member kayak and canoe outings to nearby beaches or natural settings find families enjoying the Lake's many hideaways and the company of new and old friends.
